SSRS Developer

Boston, MA

6+ months

 

Responsible for developing program specifications/detail design documents. Codes, tests and debugs applications programs.

Participates in the devising of project timelines, implementation design specifications, system flow diagrams, documentation, testing and ongoing support of business systems.

Has participated in the application design of systems, including use of analytical techniques;

Develops prototypes from functional specifications;

Designs application sub-systems and small systems; Has participated in the development of functional specifications;

Assists users in testing, training, and preparation for operations.

3-5 yrs. of prior developer/programmer experience is required.

 

• Design and develop reports for an existing implementation of GoldenSource Data Warehouse from a companion Data Mart.

• Collaborate with a team including business analysts and Oracle developers

• Participate in testing and issue resolution to validate functionality and performance

• Develop implementation instructions and coordinate / confirm installation in each environment

• 5 years experience developing reports using SSRS and comparable reporting tools (Actuate, Business Objects, etc.)

• Knowledge of SSRS report design standards

• Extensive experience using Microsoft-based reporting tools and Analysis Services

• Hands-on experience defining and invoking PL/SQL processes against Oracle databases
